L-phenylalanine is an essential amino acid used to build proteins. The body readily converts it into another amino acid, tyrosine, which is the starting material for the messenger substances dopamine and noradrenaline.

NOW Foods L-Phenylalanine contains 500 mg of free-form L-phenylalanine per vegetarian capsule. The capsules are filled by weight with no added fillers, so the powder may settle inside.

Anvendelse

Adults: 1 capsule 1 to 3 times a day as needed, preferably between meals. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Advarsler

For adults only. Contains phenylalanine – not suitable for people with phenylketonuria (PKU).
