Life Extension Vitamin B3 Niacin provides 500 mg of niacin in the form of nicotinic acid, which commonly causes a temporary warm skin flush.

Note: 500 mg is far above the EFSA upper level for nicotinic acid (10 mg/day) – for use under medical supervision only.

Niacin contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal psychological function and the maintenance of normal skin.

Ingredienser

Per capsule: niacin (nicotinic acid) 500 mg NE (3125% NRV).

Other ingredients: gelatin, vegetable stearate.

Anvendelse

Adults: 1 capsule a day with a meal, only on medical advice. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Advarsler

For adults only. High-dose niacin (above the EFSA upper level) – use only under medical supervision. May cause flushing, itching, rash, stomach upset, dizziness or a drop in blood pressure; liver function monitoring is recommended at high intakes. Do not use if you have liver disease, stomach ulcers or gout. Not for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Consult a doctor if you are taking medication (especially statins or blood pressure drugs).
