Beskrivelse

Jarrow Formulas Methyl Folate 1000 µg provides folate as Quatrefolic® – the glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF), the active form of folate that circulates in the blood and needs no conversion in the body. This form is relevant for people with less efficient conversion of synthetic folic acid (e.g. MTHFR gene variants).

Folate contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.
Folate contributes to normal blood formation, normal homocysteine metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Folate contributes to normal psychological function and the normal function of the immune system.

Ingredienser

Per capsule: folate (1000 µg as (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid glucosamine salt, Quatrefolic®) 1700 µg DFE (500% NRV).

Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, capsule (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, water), magnesium stearate (vegetable source).

Allergens: none of the major allergens (free from wheat, gluten, soy, dairy, egg, fish/shellfish, peanuts/tree nuts and sesame).

Anvendelse

Adults: 1 capsule a day with water, with or without food. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Advarsler

For adults only. This is a high dose of folate (1000 µg), at the tolerable upper intake level set by EFSA for supplemental folate – do not combine with other folate or folic acid supplements. High intakes of folate may mask vitamin B12 deficiency. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication (especially anti-epileptic or methotrexate) or have a medical condition. Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place.
