Beskrivelse

Cytoplan Methylfolate provides 400 µg of folate as 5-methyltetrahydrofolate – the biologically active form of folate that does not need to be converted by the body, making it suitable for people with MTHFR gene variants. Suitable for vegans.

Folate contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy, normal blood formation, normal homocysteine metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status; low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus (beneficial effect with 400 µg supplemental folic acid daily for at least one month before and up to three months after conception).
Available in packs of 60 capsules, 120 capsules and 180 capsules
