Swanson P-5-P provides vitamin B6 as pyridoxal-5'-phosphate, the coenzyme form in which the vitamin actually works in the body. Other forms such as pyridoxine must first be converted, mainly in the liver; P-5-P skips that step.

Vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism and to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
Vitamin B6 contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system, normal psychological function and the regulation of hormonal activity.
Vitamin B6 contributes to normal red blood cell formation and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Per capsule: vitamin B6 (pyridoxal-5'-phosphate) 20 mg (1429% NRV).

Other ingredients: rice flour, gelatin (capsule), magnesium stearate.

Användning

Adults: 1 capsule a day with water. Not for long-term use without medical advice. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Varningar

For adults only. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Long-term intake of high doses of vitamin B6 may cause tingling or numbness in the hands and feet (peripheral neuropathy) – stop use if this occurs. Do not combine with other vitamin B6 supplements. Consult a doctor if you are taking medication or have a medical condition. Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place.
