NOW Foods Slippery Elm contains the inner bark of Ulmus rubra – also called red elm – a small North American tree. Native North Americans and early settlers reportedly used it as a survival food. The bark is rich in mucilage, which forms a soothing gel with water.

Ingredienser
Per 2 capsules: slippery elm inner bark (Ulmus rubra) 800 mg; carbohydrate <1 g.
Other ingredients: hypromellose (cellulose capsule), stearic acid (vegetable source), microcrystalline cellulose.
Användning
Adults: 2 capsules 1 to 3 times a day with a full glass of water. Take other medications at least 2 hours apart, as mucilage may slow their absorption. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
