NOW Foods Potassium plus Iodine combines iodine as potassium iodide with potassium from potassium chloride.

Iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function, to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the maintenance of normal skin.
Potassium contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system, to normal muscle function and to the maintenance of normal blood pressure.

Ingredienser

Per tablet: iodine (from potassium iodide) 225 µg; potassium (from potassium chloride and iodide) 99 mg; sodium alginate 100 mg (sodium 5 mg).

Other ingredients: cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, stearic acid (vegetable source), silica, magnesium stearate (vegetable source).

Användning

Adults: 1 tablet a day with a meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Varningar

For adults only. People with kidney or heart disease or diabetes, and those taking medication that affects kidney function or blood potassium levels (e.g. some blood pressure drugs or diuretics), must consult a doctor before use. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place. People with thyroid disease should use only on medical advice. Do not eat the freshness packet.
