Osavi Sodium Butyrate SR 960 mg is a food for special medical purposes containing sodium butyrate – the sodium salt of butyric acid, a short-chain fatty acid produced naturally in the large intestine by fermentation of dietary fibre. The sustained-release (SR) capsule is coated with ethylcellulose to release its contents gradually along the gut. Must be used under medical supervision.

Per 2 capsules: sodium butyrate 960 mg, providing butyric acid 768 mg.

Ingredients: sodium butyrate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule shell), bulking agent: cellulose, thickener: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, glazing agent: ethylcellulose.

Allergens: none.

Anvendelse

Adults, unless a doctor advises otherwise: 1 capsule twice a day after a meal. Swallow whole with a glass of water; do not open or chew. For oral use only. Keep tightly closed after opening.
