NOW Foods Thyroid Energy™ combines the two building blocks of thyroid hormones – iodine and the amino acid L-tyrosine – with selenium, zinc and copper, vitamins B-6, B-12 and folate, and ashwagandha root and leaf extract (2.5% withanolides), an Ayurvedic herb.

Iodine and selenium contribute to normal thyroid function; iodine also to the normal production of thyroid hormones.
Zinc and vitamin B-12 contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
Available in 90 and 180 capsule packs

Ingredienser

Per 2 capsules: L-tyrosine (free form) 1,000 mg; ashwagandha extract (Withania somnifera, root and leaf, min. 2.5% withanolides) 125 mg; zinc (L-OptiZinc®) 25 mg; copper (amino acid chelate) 1 mg; iodine (from potassium iodide) 225 µg; selenium (L-selenomethionine) 50 µg; folate 680 µg DFE (400 µg folic acid); vitamin B-12 (methylcobalamin) 60 µg; vitamin B-6 2 mg.

Other ingredients: hypromellose (cellulose capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid (vegetable source), silicon dioxide.

Anvendelse

Adults: 2 capsules a day with food, preferably in divided doses. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Advarsler

For adults only. Not for pregnant or breastfeeding women. People with thyroid disease or taking thyroid medication, antidepressants or sedatives must consult a doctor before use; also consult a doctor if you have stomach ulcers. May cause mild, temporary digestive upset – stop use if it persists or if rash or itching occurs. Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place.
