NOW Foods Beta-Sitosterol Plant Sterols provides CardioAid®-S – esters of beta-sitosterol, campesterol and stigmasterol – in a base of fish oil. Plant sterols are structurally similar to cholesterol and reduce its absorption from the gut.

Plant sterols contribute to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels (beneficial effect with a daily intake of at least 0.8 g).

Available in 90 and 180 softgel packs

Ingredienser

Per 2 softgels: CardioAid®-S plant sterol esters 1,000 mg (400 mg beta-sitosterol, plus campesterol and stigmasterol); fish oil concentrate 120 mg.

Other ingredients: softgel (bovine gelatin, glycerin, water, carob), soy lecithin.

Allergens: contains fish (sardines, anchovies, mackerel) and soy.

Anvendelse

Adults: 2 softgels twice a day with food. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
