5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan) is a compound the body forms from the amino acid L-tryptophan on the way to serotonin. The 5-HTP in this product is extracted from the seeds of Griffonia simplicifolia, an African plant.

NOW Foods 5-HTP provides 100 mg per vegetarian capsule – one capsule a day, preferably in the evening.

Ingredienser

Per capsule: 5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan, from Griffonia simplicifolia seed extract) 100 mg.

Other ingredients: rice flour, hypromellose (cellulose capsule).

Anvendelse

Adults: 1 capsule a day, preferably on an empty stomach at bedtime. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
