Nature's Answer Red Yeast Rice contains 600 mg of rice fermented with the red yeast Monascus purpureus – a traditional East Asian food colouring and ingredient known as hong qu – in a vegetarian capsule without magnesium stearate. Red yeast rice naturally contains monacolins, including monacolin K; the monacolin content is not specified by the manufacturer.

Ingredienser

Per capsule: red yeast rice (Monascus purpureus) 600 mg.

Other ingredients: vegetable cellulose (capsule), rice flour, microcrystalline cellulose, calcium silicate.

Anvendelse

Adults: 1 capsule 1–2 times a day with water. Take with food and water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Advarsler

For adults only. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, by people over 70, or by anyone under 18. Do not use if you are taking cholesterol-lowering medication (statins) or other products containing red yeast rice. Contains monacolins, which may cause muscle pain or liver problems – stop use and consult a doctor if you experience muscle pain, weakness or dark urine. Consult a doctor before use if you have liver, kidney or muscle disorders or are taking any medication. Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place.
