OstroVit Erythritol is pure erythritol (E968), a polyol sweetener that looks and is used like sugar, with about 70% of its sweetness but no calories and a glycaemic index of zero.

Consumption of foods/drinks containing erythritol instead of sugar contributes to the maintenance of tooth mineralisation and induces a lower blood glucose rise after their consumption compared to sugar-containing foods/drinks.
