Jarrow Formulas Vitamin D3 5000 IU is a high-strength vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) in olive oil, intended for short-term use in people with increased needs or low vitamin D levels confirmed by a doctor.

Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and to the maintenance of normal bones.
Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system and the maintenance of normal muscle function and normal teeth.

Ingredienser

Per softgel: vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) 125 µg (5000 IU) (2500% NRV).

Other ingredients: olive oil, softgel (bovine gelatin, glycerin, water).

Allergens: none of the major allergens (free from wheat, gluten, soy, dairy, egg, fish/shellfish, peanuts/tree nuts and sesame).

Användning

Adults: 1 softgel a day with a meal containing fat, only on medical advice and for a limited period. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Varningar

For adults only. This product provides 125 µg of vitamin D per softgel – above the 100 µg a day tolerable upper intake level set by EFSA for adults. Use only under medical supervision, for a limited period, and with periodic blood tests (25-OH vitamin D). Do not combine with other vitamin D supplements. Not for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not use if you have kidney stones, kidney disease, hyperparathyroidism, hypercalcaemia, sarcoidosis or lymphoma. Symptoms of excess vitamin D include nausea, vomiting, dizziness and drowsiness – stop use if they occur. Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place.
