Description

Life Extension Zinc Caps provide 50 mg of zinc as OptiZinc® zinc monomethionine and zinc citrate.

Note: 50 mg is twice the EFSA tolerable upper intake level for zinc (25 mg/day) – for short-term use under medical supervision only.

Zinc contributes to normal function of the immune system and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair, nails and vision, and to normal fertility and reproduction.

Ingredients

Per capsule: zinc (as OptiZinc® zinc monomethionine, zinc citrate) 50 mg (500% NRV).

Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable cellulose (capsule), vegetable stearate, silica.

Directions

Adults: 1 capsule a day with food, only on medical advice and for limited periods. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

High-dose zinc (above the EFSA upper level of 25 mg/day) – long-term use can cause copper deficiency; if used for more than 4 weeks, medical supervision and copper supplementation are needed. Not for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Consult a doctor if you are taking medication (e.g. antibiotics) or have a medical condition. Keep out of reach of children.
