Beskrivelse

NOW Foods Red Omega™ combines three ingredients in one softgel: organic red yeast rice (rice fermented with Monascus purpureus, traditionally used in Asian cooking), omega-3 fish oil and coenzyme Q10. The red yeast rice is produced to avoid citrinin, an unwanted by-product of fermentation.

EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart (beneficial effect with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA).

Available in 90 and 180 softgel packs

Ingredienser

Per 2 softgels: fish oil concentrate 2,000 mg, providing EPA 360 mg and DHA 240 mg; organic red yeast rice (Monascus purpureus) 600 mg; coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) 60 mg; energy 20 kcal; fat 2 g, of which saturates 0.5 g.

Other ingredients: softgel (bovine gelatin, glycerin, water, carob), beeswax, d-alpha tocopherol, soy lecithin.

Allergens: contains fish (sardines, anchovies, mackerel) and soy.

Anvendelse

Adults: 2 softgels a day with food. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Advarsler

Do not use if you are pregnant, may become pregnant or are breastfeeding. For adults only; not for people over 70. Do not use if you take cholesterol-lowering medication (especially statins) or other products containing red yeast rice, or if you have liver disease or a history of statin intolerance – consult a doctor first. If muscle pain or weakness occurs, stop use and consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place.
