NOW Foods Nutritional Yeast is a primary-grown yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Red Star®) cultivated on purified cane and beet molasses – not a by-product of brewing like brewer's yeast. It has a pleasant, savoury, cheese-like taste, is naturally rich in protein and fibre, and is fortified with B vitamins including B-12, making it a staple in vegan cooking. The fine powder blends easily into shakes, sauces and baking.

  • Thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, B-6 and B-12 contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism.

  • Riboflavin, niacin, B-6, folate and B-12 contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

  • Vitamin B-12 and folate contribute to normal red blood cell formation.

Ingredienser

Per level tablespoon (10 g): energy 40 kcal; fat 0.5 g; carbohydrate 3 g, of which sugars 0 g; fibre 2 g; protein 5 g; potassium 200 mg; thiamin 6 mg; riboflavin 6 mg; niacin 35 mg; vitamin B-6 7 mg; folate 750 µg DFE (450 µg folic acid); vitamin B-12 15 µg.

Ingredients: dried yeast, niacin, pyridoxine hydrochloride (B-6), riboflavin, thiamin hydrochloride, folic acid, cobalamin (B-12).

Anvendelse

1 level tablespoon a day, mixed into milk, juice or shakes, or added to recipes.
