Life Extension Buffered Vitamin C Powder combines ascorbic acid with calcium, magnesium and potassium carbonates and zinc gluconate. When mixed with water it fizzes as the minerals neutralise ('buffer') the acidity of the vitamin C, giving a gentler, pleasant-tasting drink.

Ingredienser
Per rounded teaspoon (approx. 5.4 g): vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) 4000 mg (5000% NRV); calcium (as carbonate) 145 mg (18% NRV); magnesium (as carbonate) 55 mg (15% NRV); zinc (as gluconate) 2 mg (20% NRV); potassium (as carbonate) 365 mg (18% NRV).
Other ingredients: none.
Anvendelse
Adults: mix 1 rounded teaspoon (or less) into a glass of water, wait for the fizzing to stop, then drink. Start with a smaller amount. Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

For adults only. High-dose vitamin C may cause diarrhoea or stomach upset – if this occurs, lower the amount. People prone to kidney stones, with haemochromatosis or kidney disease should consult a doctor. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication or have a medical condition.
