Beskrivelse

Jarrow Formulas Astaxanthin provides 12 mg of natural astaxanthin from AstaPure® – an extract of the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis. Astaxanthin is the red carotenoid pigment responsible for the colour of salmon, shrimp and krill. It is fat-soluble and supplied in safflower and olive oil with mixed tocopherols and rosemary extract.

Ingredienser

Per softgel: astaxanthin (from Haematococcus pluvialis algae extract, AstaPure®) 12 mg.

Other ingredients: safflower oil, softgel (bovine gelatin, glycerin, water), mixed tocopherols (antioxidant, from sunflower oil), olive oil, rosemary extract (antioxidant).

Allergens: none of the major allergens.

Anvendelse

Adults: 1 softgel a day with a meal containing fat. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Advarsler

For adults only. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or under 18. The dose exceeds the 8 mg a day of astaxanthin considered safe for adults by EFSA – do not combine with other astaxanthin products. Consult a doctor if you are taking medication or have a medical condition. Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place.
