Holland & Barrett Activated Charcoal capsules provide finely powdered, steam-activated charcoal – a highly porous material with a very large surface area.

Activated charcoal contributes to reducing excessive flatulence after eating (beneficial effect with at least 1 g taken at least 30 minutes before and 1 g shortly after a meal).

Ingredienser

Per 6 capsules: activated charcoal 1560 mg (260 mg per capsule).

Other ingredients: capsule shell (bovine gelatine), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.

Allergens: none.

Anvendelse

Adults: 2 capsules three times a day after meals, with water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Advarsler

For adults only. Activated charcoal binds substances in the gut – take it at least 2 hours apart from medication, other supplements and the contraceptive pill. Not for long-term use without medical advice. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. May cause black stools and constipation – drink plenty of water. Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place. Contains bovine gelatine.
