Description
Swanson Niacin provides 100 mg of vitamin B3 as nicotinic acid – the 'flushing' form of niacin. This is a high-dose product.

Ingredients
Per tablet: niacin (nicotinic acid) 100 mg (625% NRV).
Other ingredients: calcium carbonate, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, calcium palmitate, croscarmellose sodium, film coating (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, glycerin).
Directions
Adults: 1 tablet a day with food and water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Warnings
For adults only. Nicotinic acid commonly causes temporary skin flushing, tingling and itching, especially on an empty stomach. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have liver disease, stomach ulcers, gout or diabetes without medical advice. High-dose product: the amount per serving exceeds the tolerable upper intake level set by EFSA for nicotinic acid (10 mg/day). Do not combine with other supplements containing it, do not use long-term without medical supervision, and consult a doctor before use. Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place.
