Description
Swanson Folate High Potency provides folate as Quatrefolic® – the glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, the active form of folate that circulates in the blood. Unlike folic acid, it does not need to be converted in the body, which is relevant for people with less efficient folate metabolism (e.g. MTHFR variants).

Ingredients
Per capsule: folate (Quatrefolic® (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid glucosamine salt, equivalent to 871 µg of 5-MTHF) 800 µg DFE.
Other ingredients: rice flour, hypromellose (vegetarian capsule), magnesium stearate.
Directions
Adults: 1 capsule a day with water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
