Description
Pantethine is a biologically active form of pantothenic acid (vitamin B-5) and the direct building block of coenzyme A, which the body needs to process fats, carbohydrates and proteins.
Pantothenic acid contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, to normal synthesis and metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D and some neurotransmitters, to normal mental performance and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
NOW Foods Pantethine provides 300 mg per softgel, 2 to 3 softgels a day with food.
Ingredients
Per softgel: pantethine 300 mg.
Other ingredients: softgel (bovine gelatin, glycerin, water, carob), rice bran oil, sunflower lecithin, beeswax.
Directions
Adults: 1 softgel 2 to 3 times a day with food. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
