Description

L-tryptophan is an essential amino acid – the body cannot make it and relies on food. It is the starting material for serotonin and, from serotonin, for the sleep hormone melatonin.

Ingredients

Per 2 capsules: L-tryptophan (free-form) 1,000 mg.

Other ingredients: hypromellose (cellulose capsule), rice flour, ascorbyl palmitate, stearic acid (vegetable source).

Directions

Adults: 1–2 capsules 2 to 3 times a day on an empty stomach, with the last dose at bedtime. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
