Description

NOW Foods Black Currant Oil is expeller-pressed, hexane-free oil from blackcurrant seeds (Ribes nigrum), with 14% GLA. Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) is an omega-6 fatty acid that the body can make from linoleic acid, but it is found preformed in only a few plant seed oils. Blackcurrant oil is unusual in also providing the omega-3 fatty acid ALA.

Ingredients

Per softgel: blackcurrant seed oil (Ribes nigrum) 500 mg, providing GLA 70 mg (14%) and ALA 52 mg; energy 5 kcal; fat 0.5 g.

Other ingredients: softgel (bovine gelatin, glycerin, water).

Directions

Adults: 1 softgel 3 times a day with food. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
