Description

Life Extension High Potency Optimized Folate provides a very high dose of folate as the calcium salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) – the biologically active form that circulates in the blood and does not need to be converted like folic acid.

Note: 8500 µg DFE is far above the usual daily requirement (NRV 200 µg) and above the EFSA upper level for supplemental folate (1000 µg/day) – intended for use under medical supervision only.

Folate contributes to normal blood formation, normal homocysteine metabolism, normal psychological function and to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.

Ingredients

Per tablet: folate [as (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, calcium salt] 8500 µg DFE (4250% NRV).

Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, dicalcium phosphate, stearic acid, croscarmellose sodium, silica, vegetable stearate.

Directions

Adults: 1 tablet a day with food and water, only on medical advice. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
