Description

Jarrow Formulas Ultra BoneUp® is the enhanced version of BoneUp®, built on microcrystalline hydroxyapatite (MCHA, StimuCal™) – a whole-bone calcium source from free-range New Zealand calves containing calcium, phosphorus and bone proteins including type I collagen. It adds a higher dose of vitamin D3, vitamin K2 as natural MK-7, stabilised silicic acid (silicon), type II collagen from bovine cartilage, vitamin C, magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese, potassium and boron.

Calcium is needed for the maintenance of normal bones and teeth and contributes to normal muscle function.
Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and to the maintenance of normal bones.
Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.
Magnesium, zinc and manganese contribute to the maintenance of normal bones.
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of bones.

Ingredients

Per 6 tablets (daily dose): vitamin C (as calcium ascorbate) 200 mg (250% NRV); vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) 50 µg (1000% NRV); calcium (from microcrystalline hydroxyapatite) 1200 mg (150% NRV); magnesium (as oxide) 500 mg (133% NRV); zinc (as zinc L-methionine sulfate) 10 mg (100% NRV); copper (as gluconate) 1 mg (100% NRV); manganese (as citrate) 1 mg (50% NRV); potassium (as citrate) 100 mg (5% NRV); silicon (stabilised silicic acid) 10 mg; vitamin K2 (as menaquinone-7) 120 µg (160% NRV); boron (as citrate) 3 mg; type II collagen (from bovine cartilage) 50 mg.

Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid (vegetable source), croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate (vegetable source), coating (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, glycerin), silicon dioxide.

Allergens: none of the major allergens. Contains bovine-derived ingredients.

Directions

Adults: 2 tablets 3 times a day (6 tablets) with meals with water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Warnings

For adults only. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication or have a medical condition. Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place. Contains vitamin K – consult a doctor before use if you are taking anticoagulants (e.g. warfarin). Do not combine with other calcium or vitamin D supplements unless advised by a doctor. The daily dose provides 500 mg of magnesium, above the 250 mg of supplemental magnesium considered safe by EFSA; it may have a laxative effect.

Food supplement. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of young children.
