Description

Cytoplan Vitamin B6 provides high-potency vitamin B6 as pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P-5-P) – the active coenzyme form the body uses directly, without conversion from pyridoxine. Can be used alongside a multivitamin or B complex. Suitable for vegans.

Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity, normal psychological function, normal homocysteine metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Ingredients

Per 2 capsules: vitamin B6 (pyridoxal-5-phosphate) 50 mg (3571% NRV).

Ingredients: anti-caking agents (microcrystalline cellulose, ascorbyl palmitate), capsule shell (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), vitamin B6 (pyridoxal-5-phosphate).

Allergens: none. Free from GMO, wheat, soya, dairy, added sugar, flavourings and colourings.

Directions

Adults: 1 capsule twice a day with food, for short-term use. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

High dose: long-term daily use of vitamin B6 at this level may lead to mild tingling and numbness (peripheral neuropathy) – exceeds the EFSA tolerable upper intake level (12 mg a day); use only short term or on the advice of a doctor. Stop use if you notice tingling or numbness. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medication (e.g. levodopa). Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place.
