Description

Trace Minerals Ionic Zinc is a concentrated liquid providing zinc from zinc sulfate together with copper (to maintain a balanced zinc–copper ratio) and ConcenTrace® ionic trace minerals. Liquid drops allow the dose to be reduced easily – 10 drops provide about 20 mg of zinc.

Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair, nails and vision, and to normal fertility and reproduction.

Ingredients

Per 1.25 ml (¼ teaspoon, 25 drops): zinc (sulfate) 50 mg (500% NRV); copper (sulfate) 2 mg (200% NRV); magnesium (from ConcenTrace®) 25 mg (7% NRV); chloride 55 mg (7% NRV); ConcenTrace® trace minerals 350 mg; sulfate 40 mg; boron 100 µg.

Other ingredients: purified water, citric acid, preservative (potassium benzoate <0.1%).

Directions

Adults: up to 10 drops a day (about 20 mg zinc) with a meal, mixed into a flavoured drink or food; the full 25-drop serving only short-term and on the advice of a doctor. Take on a full stomach. Shake well; do not refrigerate. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Warnings

For adults only. The full serving (50 mg zinc) exceeds the EU tolerable upper intake level of 25 mg a day – long-term high zinc intake can cause copper deficiency. May cause nausea on an empty stomach. Not for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Consult a doctor if you are taking medication (especially antibiotics) or have a medical condition. Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place.
