Description
Swanson Zinc Gluconate provides 30 mg of elemental zinc per tablet, bound to gluconic acid. This is a high-dose product.

Ingredients
Per tablet: zinc (gluconate) 30 mg (300% NRV).
Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, croscarmellose sodium.
Directions
Adults: 1 tablet a day with food and water (may upset the stomach if taken on an empty stomach). Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Warnings
For adults only. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication or have a medical condition. High-dose product: the amount per serving exceeds the tolerable upper intake level set by EFSA for zinc (25 mg/day). Do not combine with other supplements containing zinc (25 mg/day), do not use long-term without medical supervision, and consult a doctor before use. Long-term high zinc intake can cause copper deficiency. Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place.
