Description
Swanson Lutein 40 mg provides a high dose of lutein from marigold flower extract (Tagetes erecta) in sunflower oil, which supports absorption of this fat-soluble carotenoid. Lutein and zeaxanthin are the two carotenoids that accumulate in the macula – the central part of the retina – where they form the macular pigment. The body cannot make them, so they must come from the diet (leafy greens, egg yolks, corn).

Per softgel: lutein (marigold flower extract) 40 mg.
Other ingredients: sunflower oil, gelatin, glycerin, yellow beeswax, soy lecithin, purified water, natural tocopherols.
Allergens: contains soy.
Directions
