Description
Swanson Lutein Higher Strength provides 20 mg of lutein from marigold flowers (Tagetes erecta) in sunflower oil. Lutein and zeaxanthin are the two carotenoids that accumulate in the macula – the central part of the retina – where they form the macular pigment. The body cannot make them, so they must come from the diet (leafy greens, egg yolks, corn).

Per softgel: lutein (marigold flower, Tagetes erecta) 20 mg.
Other ingredients: sunflower oil, softgel (gelatin, glycerin, purified water), yellow beeswax, soy lecithin, natural tocopherols.
Allergens: contains soy. Contains sulphites.
Directions
Adults: 1 softgel a day with food and water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
