Swanson Berberine Advanced features Berbevis® – an extract of Indian barberry root (Berberis aristata) formulated with Indena's Phytosome® technology (bound to sunflower lecithin) for enhanced absorption.

Ingredients
Per capsule: Berbevis® berberine (Berberis aristata root extract, Indena Phytosome®) 550 mg.
Other ingredients: hypromellose (vegan capsule), pea protein, sunflower lecithin, grapeseed extract, hydroxypropyl cellulose, silica, rice bran, magnesium stearate.
Directions
Adults: 1 capsule twice a day with a meal and water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Warnings

People with diabetes or hypoglycaemia, or taking any medication (berberine interacts with many drugs, including diabetes medication, blood thinners, ciclosporin and statins), must consult a doctor before use.
