Description

Swanson Alpha Lipoic Acid 300 mg supplies alpha-lipoic acid (ALA), a sulphur-containing compound that the body makes in small amounts and that acts as a cofactor of mitochondrial enzymes involved in energy production. ALA is soluble in both water and fat and is found in small amounts in spinach, broccoli, potatoes and offal.

Ingredients

Per capsule: alpha-lipoic acid 300 mg.

Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, capsule (gelatin – 60-capsule bottle; hypromellose – 120-capsule bottle), magnesium stearate, silica.

Directions

Adults: 1 capsule 1–2 times a day with food and water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
