Description
NOW Foods Vitamin A & D combines two fat-soluble vitamins in one softgel with organic extra virgin olive oil.
- Vitamin A (3,000 mcg) contributes to the maintenance of normal vision, normal skin and normal mucous membranes, and to the normal function of the immune system.
- Vitamin D3 (10 mcg) contributes to the normal absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus, and to the maintenance of normal bones, teeth and muscle function.
The vitamin A dose is high. Pregnant women and women planning pregnancy should not take vitamin A supplements without medical advice.
Ingredients
Per softgel: vitamin A (as retinyl palmitate) 3,000 mcg (10,000 IU); vitamin D (as D3 cholecalciferol, from lanolin) 10 mcg (400 IU).
Other ingredients: organic extra virgin olive oil, softgel (bovine gelatin, glycerin, water).
Directions
Adults: 1 softgel a day with a meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
