Description

NOW Foods UC-II® contains standardised chicken sternum cartilage providing native, undenatured type II collagen – the main structural protein of joint cartilage. Unlike hydrolysed collagen, it is effective in a small dose: clinical studies used just one 40 mg capsule a day. Aquamin® calcium from red seaweed is added.

Calcium is needed for the maintenance of normal bones.

Available in 60 and 120 capsule packs

Ingredients

Per capsule: UC-II® standardised chicken cartilage 40 mg (providing 10 mg collagen, including undenatured type II collagen); Aquamin® seaweed-derived minerals (Lithothamnion spp.) 250 mg, providing calcium 80 mg.

Other ingredients: hypromellose (cellulose capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, potassium chloride, stearic acid (vegetable source), silicon dioxide.

Directions

Adults: 1 capsule a day at bedtime on an empty stomach. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
