Description
NOW Foods Red Mineral Algae is built on Aquamin® – a multi-mineral complex from the red seaweed Lithothamnion. It is rich in calcium, provides magnesium and more than 70 trace minerals, and is suitable for vegetarians. Vegetarian vitamin D2 is added.
- Calcium is needed for the maintenance of normal bones and teeth and contributes to normal muscle function.
- Magnesium contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, to normal muscle function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
- Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and to the maintenance of normal bones.
Ingredients
Per 4 capsules: Aquamin® seaweed-derived minerals (Lithothamnion spp., whole plant) 3,500 mg, providing calcium 1,000 mg and magnesium 80 mg; vitamin D (as D2 ergocalciferol) 25 µg (1,000 IU).
Other ingredients: hypromellose (cellulose capsule), corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid (vegetable source), maltodextrin.
Directions
Adults: 4 capsules a day with food, preferably in divided doses. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
