Description

NOW Foods Papaya Enzyme are refreshing mint lozenges made with spray-dried unripe papaya, papain and bromelain, plus protease, lipase, cellulase and amylase. Chewed or dissolved after meals, they also freshen the breath.

Ingredients

Per 2 lozenges: papain (from papaya, 2,000 USP/mg) 100 mg; papaya fruit powder 80 mg; bromelain (from pineapple, 2,400 GDU/g) 20 mg; protease; lipase 2 mg; cellulase 0.6 mg; alpha-amylase; sugar alcohols (sorbitol, mannitol) 1 g; energy 5 kcal.

Other ingredients: stearic acid (vegetable source), magnesium stearate (vegetable source), silicon dioxide, peppermint leaf powder, peppermint oil, sodium copper chlorophyllin.

Directions

Adults: chew or dissolve 2 lozenges after meals or as needed. Children over 4 years: 1 lozenge after meals or as needed.

Warnings

Excessive consumption may have a laxative effect (contains polyols). Do not use if allergic to papaya or pineapple. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication or have a medical condition. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place.
