Description
Glutathione is a small peptide made from cysteine, glutamic acid and glycine. Every cell in the body makes it, with the highest levels in the liver, and it is one of the body's own antioxidant molecules.
NOW Foods Glutathione 500 mg provides a high dose of glutathione in its reduced, active form, complemented by two ingredients often combined with it:
- Milk thistle extract – 100 mg, standardised to 80% silymarin
- Alpha lipoic acid – 50 mg
This large pack contains 120 capsules. Vegan, halal, kosher, non-GMO. Made without gluten, soy, dairy, eggs or nuts.
Ingredients
Per capsule: glutathione (reduced form) 500 mg; milk thistle extract (Silybum marianum, fruit/seed, standardised to 80 mg silymarin) 100 mg; alpha lipoic acid 50 mg.
Other ingredients: hypromellose (cellulose capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate (vegetable source), silicon dioxide.
Directions
Adults: 1 capsule a day, preferably on an empty stomach. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
