Description
NOW Foods Curcumin Phytosome uses Meriva® – turmeric extract complexed with phosphatidylcholine (from sunflower or soy lecithin), which in studies is absorbed much better than standard curcumin extracts. Meriva® has been examined in more than 30 clinical studies. Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is a root from the ginger family that has coloured and flavoured South Asian cooking for centuries and has been used in Ayurveda for thousands of years. Its main active compounds are curcuminoids, above all curcumin.

Ingredients
Per capsule: curcumin phytosome (Meriva® turmeric rhizome extract/phosphatidylcholine complex; min. 18% curcuminoids – 90 mg) 500 mg.
Other ingredients: rice flour, hypromellose (cellulose capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate (vegetable source), silicon dioxide.
Directions
Adults: 1 capsule 1 to 4 times a day with food. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
