NOW Foods Chitosan uses LipoSan ULTRA® – a high-density chitosan from shrimp shells. Chitosan is a fibre that binds fat in the digestive tract; it is taken just before the two main meals, alongside a sensible diet and exercise. Chromium (Albion™) completes the formula.

Ingredients
Per 3 capsules: chitosan (LipoSan ULTRA®) 1,500 mg; chromium (from chromium nicotinate glycinate, Albion™) 300 µg.
Other ingredients: hypromellose (cellulose capsule), stearic acid (vegetable source), silicon dioxide.
Allergens: contains crustaceans (shrimp).
Directions
Adults: 3 capsules immediately before each of the 2 main meals. Do not exceed 6 capsules a day. Take at least 4 hours apart from fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) and medications.
