Description

NOW Foods Astaxanthin Extra Strength provides 10 mg per softgel – more than twice the regular 4 mg version. Astaxanthin is a red carotenoid – the pigment that colours salmon, shrimp and flamingos. NOW uses Zanthin® natural astaxanthin from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis. It is fat-soluble, so take it with a meal containing fat.

Ingredients

Per softgel: astaxanthin (Zanthin®, from Haematococcus pluvialis extract) 10 mg; energy 5 kcal.

Other ingredients: olive oil, softgel (bovine gelatin, glycerin, water), mixed tocopherols (sunflower), sunflower oil, rosemary leaf extract.

Directions

Adults: 1 softgel a day with a meal containing fat. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
