NOW Foods Alpha Lipoic Acid 100 mg combines ALA with vitamins C and E. Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is a sulphur-containing compound made by the body in small amounts and found in foods such as spinach, broccoli and organ meats. It is unusual in being active in both water- and fat-based environments, and it helps regenerate other antioxidants such as vitamins C and E.

Vitamins C and E contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress; vitamin C also to the normal function of the immune system.

Ingredients

Per capsule: alpha lipoic acid 100 mg; vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) 250 mg; vitamin E (as d-alpha tocopheryl succinate, from non-GMO soy) 20 mg.

Other ingredients: rice flour, hypromellose (cellulose capsule), stearic acid (vegetable source), ascorbyl palmitate, silicon dioxide.

Directions

Adults: 1 capsule once or twice a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
