Description
Nature's Answer Gymnema is a liquid extract of gymnema leaf (Gymnema sylvestre), with each 1 ml serving (about 38 drops) providing 1000 mg of herb. Nature's Answer alcohol-free extracts are made with the company's cold Bio-Chelated® process, which extracts the plant in purified water and vegetable glycerin without alcohol or heat, aiming to keep the full spectrum of the plant's constituents. The extract has a mildly sweet taste from glycerin and contains no added sugar. Gymnema is a climbing plant of Indian forests used in Ayurveda; its Hindi name gurmar means 'sugar destroyer', because chewing the leaf temporarily blunts the taste of sweetness.

Ingredients
Per 1 ml: gymnema (Gymnema sylvestre) leaf extract 1000 mg.

Directions
Adults: 1 ml (about 38 drops) in a little water or juice, 1–3 times a day. Shake well before use; refrigerate after opening. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
