Description

Jarrow Formulas Lutein provides Lutemax® 2020 – a marigold flower extract (Tagetes erecta) supplying 20 mg of lutein and 4 mg of zeaxanthin isomers (RR- and RS-(meso)-zeaxanthin). Lutein and zeaxanthin are yellow carotenoids found in green leafy vegetables such as kale and spinach, and in egg yolk; in the eye they accumulate in the macula.

Ingredients

Per softgel: lutein (marigold flower extract, Tagetes erecta, Lutemax® 2020) 20 mg; zeaxanthin (from marigold) 4 mg.

Other ingredients: sunflower oil, softgel (bovine gelatin, glycerin, water), beeswax, mixed tocopherols (antioxidant).

Allergens: none of the major allergens (free from wheat, gluten, soy, dairy, egg, fish/shellfish, peanuts/tree nuts and sesame).

Directions

Adults: 1 softgel a day with food. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
