Description

Jarrow Formulas Alpha Lipoic Sustain® combines 300 mg of alpha-lipoic acid (thioctic acid) with biotin in a bilayer tablet: about one third of the dose is released quickly and two thirds gradually. Alpha-lipoic acid is a sulphur-containing compound produced in small amounts in the body and found in foods such as spinach, broccoli and organ meats.

Biotin contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal macronutrient metabolism and the maintenance of normal hair and skin.

Ingredients

Per tablet: alpha-lipoic acid (thioctic acid) 300 mg; biotin (as d-biotin) 330 µg (660% NRV).

Other ingredients: calcium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, glyceryl behenate, stearic acid (vegetable source), beetroot powder (colour), natural flavour, magnesium stearate (vegetable source), carbomer, silicon dioxide, coating (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, stearic acid).

Allergens: none of the major allergens (free from wheat, gluten, soy, dairy, egg, fish/shellfish, peanuts/tree nuts and sesame).

Directions

Adults: 1 tablet 1–2 times a day with meals with water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
